Aloe Entertainment on Current Faith Based Productions

Most of the time when people think of faith based films they think of The Passion of the Christ, but what about current productions? Most recently to hit the box office is the film October Baby. Although this movie does not immediately appear to be faith based, the message is entirely so says Aloe Entertainment.
October Baby is a faith based drama about a college freshman that finds out she is an adopted survivor of an attempted abortion. The main message of the movie is against abortion and it highlights the unpleasant effects they can have, explains Aloe Entertainment. The movie also shows a resolution to the main characters turmoil’s through her faith and devotion.
Although originally produced in 2009, the movie The Mighty Macs did not hit the big screen until October of 2011, says Aloe Entertainment. This movie is based on the true story of Cathy Rush who was the head of her basketball team at her all girls Catholic college. It is a story of a women driven by her faith to not give up even when all the odds are not in her favor, explains Aloe Entertainment.
Also in 2011 was the movie Courageous, says Aloe Entertainment. The movie depicts the lives of four police officers, that when stuck with tragedy, struggle with their faith and their roles as both fathers and husbands. Aloe Entertainment points out that the movie embraces God's promise to "turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers."
Last years block buster Soul Surfer was also a faith based film, says Aloe Entertainment. The movie focuses on a 13 year old Bethany Hamilton that was a champion surfer, until one night while night surfing she is attacked by a shark and loses her arm. Aloe Entertainment explains that despite her misfortune she does not give up her faith in God and in fact uses her faith to help her get back into the water and surf again.
